Katex stops production in Bulgaria and starts layoffs

One of the oldest textile factories in Bulgaria is to discontinue production and has started a layoff procedure.

Worsted fabric producer Katex said it is halting operations owing to decreased productivity and unfavourable market conditions, and has now laid off 205 employees in Kazanlak.
