KazHemp, the largest producer of industrial hemp in Kazakhstan, is considering a major expansion of production and exports with an investment of US$50m.
According to Maxim Skrynnik, director, the plans include building a new production complex and two fibre processing plants that will focus on the production of yarn and fabric and will be based in the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions.
