Kazakh textile factory on verge of bankruptcy

The Atyrau Textile Factory, one of the largest and oldest textile enterprises in Kazakhstan, could be closed owing to financial problems and a lack of orders.

The factory was built around five years ago with an investment of KZT2.5bn (US$5.9m).
