Kazakh wool contract with Italian company

Major global clothing brands could soon be using Kazakh wool for manufacturing their apparel products, as a result of a contract signed between Italian firm Vicotex and KazAgroProdukt, a subsidiary of KazAgro National Management Holding.

Under the US$598,000 contract signed in February, KazAgroProdukt has shipped 72 tonnes of wool tops to the Italian company. Wool top production in Kazakhstan was carried out under the control of Italian experts.
