Knitted haemostatic bandage
A knitted bandage claimed to provide excellent haemostatic properties and fluid absorbency has been developed by medical device company Beeken Biomedical.
The device is designed to rapidly arrest bleeding, and will be useful in situations where large haemorrhages exist or when a patient cannot be immediately admitted to a hospital or trauma treatment centre.
