Several new “technopolises” (technological centres) that specialise in the manufacture of textile products will soon be established in Kyrgyzstan.

It is planned the first of these clusters will be built in the Bishkek region and will create thousands of new jobs.

Production of the new cluster will be exported, particularly to the countries of the Customs Union: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia. It will be located on an area of 40 hectares and will house more than 20 textile enterprises.

A second cluster will also be established in Bishkek on the site of the machine building plant.
