Lantal Textiles’ aircraft floorcoverings portfolio has been extended with a 100% polyamide (nylon) carpet called Polyamide Basic.
The carpet is Wilton-woven from a three-ply twisted yarn with a loop pile and is conductivity-treated. The backing is a synthetic and glass fibre weave coated with latex.
Owing to its exceptional durability, the carpet is ideal for economy class sections on short- and long-haul routes. It is less voluminous than a wool carpet, but its longevity makes it a cost-effective choice, the company states.
