Large textile factory to be built in Southern Kyrgyzstan

The government of Kyrgyzstan, together with private investors, is continuing to build a new textile factory in the Southern Kyrgyzstan region.

The facility is located in Osh and will create up to 7,000 jobs.

The new factory will produce a wide range of products, including clothing, knitwear, fabrics and accessories.

The planned annual capacity is 10m pieces of clothing, 1.500 tonnes of wool and 4.5m linear metres of fabric.
