Estonian undergarment manufacturer Linette, established in 1940, has sold its 100% subsidiary Linette Retail to Latvian lingerie, corsetry and swimwear producer New Rosme, which is owned by Swegmark of Sweden. New Rosme currently exports 95% of production, with 75% of exports going outside the EU.
“The Linette brand will still be used and most of the employees of Linette Retail will continue in their current position,” said Kaspars Sprinkis, sales and marketing director of New Rosme. “The contracts between suppliers and partners will also still apply.”
