Latvian designer's textile collection utilises waste material

Latvian designer Tamara Orjola has created a series of biodegradable furniture and textiles from yarn made only using pine needles.

Seeking to make practical use of needle fibre, Orjola designed Forest Wool, a collection of rugs, stools and benches that offer an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic materials with higher carbon footprints.
