Lenzing to build world’s largest lyocell fibre plant in Thailand

With Austria-based Lenzing increasing production of lyocell fibres to meet strong demand, approval has been granted for the group to construct a state-of-the art lyocell fibre production plant in Prachinburi, Thailand.

The €400m (US$446m) plant will have an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes and is part of a €1bn (US$1.1bn) investment programme to build new production facilities for lyocell fibres.
