Lightweight hemp-based biomaterials gain momentum

Faurecia aims to triple production of its NAFILean lightweight hemp-based biocomposites over the next three years, as they are increasingly being adopted by original equipment manufacturers.

The company has developed new figures to show the significant energy and environmental benefits the biomaterials provides, in addition to the positive impact on agriculture.
