Lufthansa wins German Design Award 2018

The interior of Lufthansa’s A350 Economy Class won the German Design Award 2018 in the Excellent Product Design – Transportation category.

The jury was impressed by the ergonomic seating comfort and the visually balanced colourways of the seat covers as well as their haptic properties, which contribute to a unique travel ambience.

The fabrics for this cabin were produced by Lantal Textiles. The colours of the seat covers range from dark blue at the windows to brighter blue shades along the cabin aisles.
