Michelin approves use of polyester tyre cord recycled from waste PET

PET enzymatic hydrolysis Credit CarbiosFrance-based tyre producer Michelin has successfully tested and applied a recycling process for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste to create a high-tenacity fibre that meets its technical requirements.
