Minimum wage for all Cambodian workers

A new law providing a national minimum wage for all workers will come into force by the end of the year, Cambodian Labor Minister Ith Samheng said after union and employer representatives met officials to discuss the issue last month.

Several sectors already have a minimum wage, such as the textile and clothing industry, which pays workers at least US$153 a month.
