Moncler to open manufacturing plant in Romania

Milan-based premium lifestyle brand Moncler has completed setting up a manufacturing unit in Romania. Operated through its Romanian subsidiary Industries Yield Srl, the manufacturer of outerwear hired 600 people to run the facility.

The operation follows the Italian group’s €1.5m (US$1.7m) purchase of another production unit in Romania in 2015, which was already a Moncler supplier.
