A multi-layer liquid-absorbing textile assembly for use in feminine hygiene products and incontinence undergarments is disclosed by RSD Holdings of Auckland, New Zealand.

The textile assembly preferably has a thickness of 4–6 mm and a basis weight of around 410 g/m².
