New automotive ‘sandwich’ material presented

ThermHex Waben presented its lightweight Organosandwich semi-finished product at the Plastics in Automotive Engineering conference in Mannheim, Germany, from 3-4 April.

The new thermoplastic material offers a wide range of possible applications in the automotive sector, including the inner bonnet, door modules and, underbody panels.
