A programme for the flax industry for Belarus and Russia could be developed, according to Grigory Rapota, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State, after visiting the Yakovlevsky Linen Mills in Privolzhsk, in Russia’s Ivanovo Oblast.
There had been an earlier attempt to draw up a Union State flax industry programme; Rapota noted this was not completed for various reasons.
