New guidelines to safeguard Myanmar clothing workers

New guidelines have been issued to help ensure the safety and health of clothing workers in Myanmar.

The guidelines were drawn up by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association, the Confederation of Trade Unions Myanmar, the Myanmar infrastructure, Craft and Services and the Agriculture and Farmers Federation of Myanmar, with technical support from the Danish government.
