German development agency GIZ and Global Fashion Agenda have outlined the next steps in their initiative designed to restructure the apparel waste sector in Cambodia and reduce the amount of textiles destined for landfill and incineration.
The next stage in the programme, which was established in May 2023, will involve the establishment of a Circular Fashion Project that will focus on establishing a robust recycling infrastructure and exploring circular business opportunities within the fashion sector.
