No lace underwear ban in Customs Union, says Minister

The Customs Union technical regulation “Concerning the safety of light industry products” contains no bans on any kinds of underwear, according to Valery Koreshkov Minister of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body of the Customs Union.

Earlier, some media outlets had reported that lace lingerie will not be available for sale in the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) starting from 1 July, as the ban on this kind of lingerie was imposed by the Customs Union technical regulation.
