The number of people employed in the manufacture of textiles and textile goods in Georgia totalled 5,605 in the second quarter of this year, compared with 5,425 in the same quarter of 2013, according to an analysis of data from the National Statistics Office (GEOSTAT).
Total employment in the Georgian textile industry has shown a tendency to increase in recent years, with data from the same source indicating that 4,074 people were employed in the manufacture of textiles and textile goods in 2010.
