Indonesia’s textile and clothing industry enjoyed positive growth in 2019 with exports valued at US$13.8bn, an increase from US$10bn in 2018, making the country one of the world’s largest textile producers, according to Dezan Shira & Associates.
Despite this upward trend, the industry has been severely impacted by the US-China trade war and now the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
