Patch2Patient project exploits benefits of FPP
The necessary base technologies for establishing a digital, flexible and automated value chain for the production of composite medical products, such as prosthetics and orthotics, have been developed as part of the Patch2Patient project co-ordinated by automation specialist Cevotec of Unterhaching, Germany.
Cevotec’s fibre patch placement technology was used with adjusted digital tools to integrate patient-specific data into FPP manufacturing.
