Philippine research institute launches programmes to boost textile industry

As part of the Philippine Tropical Fabrics month in January, the Department of Science and Technology at the Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) announced that a number of activities and programmes will be held in an effort to boost the country’s textile industry.

DOST-PTRI, which celebrates its 51st anniversary this year, said the celebration will have the theme Concept to Cloth.
