The project to upgrade Baranovichi Cotton Production Amalgamation (BCPA) is yielding good results, according to the chairman of the Council of the Republic, Mikhail Myasnikovich.
“The upgrade project has been quite effective; the results are good,” he said during a visit to the company last month.
Last year, BCPA’s production and sales rose by 25% and exports surged by more than 30%, compared with 2015. In the first quarter of 2017, the company reported another 30% growth in production and sales, and exports increased 60% over the same period of 2016.
