Reinforced skirted hernia repair device
A reinforced skirted mesh for use in hernia repair has been developed by Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group (formerly Covidien).
The device is designed to be less likely to be inverted prior to and/or during implantation, especially when it is being attached to the tissue.
