Repellents for automotive nonwoven components

AGC Chemicals Americas has developed AsahiGuard E-Series high-performance, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)-free repellents with improved environmental and biological profiles.

The repellents can be used to coat nonwoven fabrics that are fabricated into automotive interior components, such as seating fabrics, floor mats, door panels and trunk linings, which must be able to repel fluids and quickly release stains.
