Despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the volume of textile production in Kazakhstan has increased since the beginning of the year.
In the January–April period, the production of cotton fabric grew 3.5% to 8.1m m2, while finished textile products for households rose 5.7% to 7.4m units, including bed-linen, the volume of which was 2.5m units – 22.1% higher year on year.
