Röchling sells German plant to Kasai Kogyo

Röchling Automotive is to sell its production facility in Wolfsburg-Hattorf, Germany, to its competitor, Kasai Kogyo.

Built in 2001, the 13,000 m2 plant produces door and side panels for vehicles. However, in recent years Röchling Automotive has increasingly focused on systems and components for aerodynamics, propulsion and “new mobility”.

The sale of the plant thus concludes a process initiated by the plastics specialist in 2011.
