Russian apparel retailers fear decline in business


Amid the threat of a second wave of coronavirus (Covid-19), demand for textile products and clothing in Russia is declining, with a negative effect on domestic sales.

Official statistics show that September revenue for the majority of apparel chains in Russia fell by 5-17% year on year owing to the possibility of a further lockdown.
