Russian fibre producer to launch large polyester facility

One of Russia’s largest polyester fibre production units was due to be commissioned by the end of September by man-made fibre producer Vostokkhimvolokno.

The new US$15m facility is located at the Voskresensk-Khimvolokno plant in Voskresensk, Moscow Region, and will supply raw materials for the Russian technical textile and nonwovens industries, creating more than 130 jobs.
