Russian government approves new state programme for textiles

The Russian government has approved a new state programme for the development of the national textile and light industry for 2016.

According to Andrey Razbrodin (pictured), president of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (Soyuzlegprom), the programme involves the expansion of powers of the Russian Agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank), as well as an increase in its capitalisation, with the aim of providing support for Russian textile and light industry enterprises.
