Owing to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic in China, almost all Russian textile and clothing producers have begun to search for alternative partners that could replace their Chinese suppliers.
According to Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Viktor Yevtukhov, potential options include textile factories in South Korea, Turkey, Italy and several other Asian countries. However, analysts estimate the cost of these imports could be at least 20% higher than those from China.
