Russian textile producers aim to increase domestic market share


Russian textile manufacturers plan to increase their share of the domestic market this year owing to the ongoing decline of imports, particularly from China, due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The biggest opportunities for import substitution appear to be for nonwovens and technical textiles, mainly due to the growth in demand for these products.
