Sheki-Ipek silk plant continues working in Azerbaijan

Despite raw material problems, the Sheki-Ipek silk plant in Azerbaijan continues as usual, according to the company’s management, adding that 600 employees have not been dismissed or put on unpaid leave, as earlier press reports indicated.

However, silk fabric production has been suspended owing to temporary problems in the supply of raw silk.
