Shortage of skilled textile workers in Estonia

The number of jobs in Estonia’s textile industry will decline significantly over the next few years, which could lead to a crisis in the sector, according to a government spokesperson.

According to preliminary estimates, around 10% of textile workers will lose their jobs this year, mainly due to low salaries and small production volumes.
