Sigmatex continues to invest in manufacturing

Sigmatex, a manufacturer of carbon composite textiles, has begun expansion work at its Runcorn, UK, manufacturing facility.

The US$4m investment is said to be in response to the impressive growth performance in 2014 and continued strong demand for its innovative technologies in 2015.

Further to recent announcements about the new facility in the US and its lightweighting centre in the UK, this investment is focused on current technologies, which continue to service the automotive and aerospace markets, as well as offering future capacity to service its existing customer base.
