Slovakian home textiles producer to receive state aid

A home textiles producer is one of seven Slovak companies to receive state aid for investment totalling €29.5m (US$34.1m), which was announced recently by the Slovak cabinet. Together, the companies plan to invest more than €125m in Slovakia, creating almost 1,300 new jobs.

EMI Sabinov plans to invest €742,000 (US$858,000) in a new production unit in Sabinov. The value of the aid is estimated at €300,000 (US$347,000).
