Slovenian household textiles manufacturer Svilanit is on track to break even after it almost collapsed five years ago. The company is now expanding its client base and entering new markets, according to managing director Mojca Subic.

Established more than 75 years ago, Svilanit was a leading textile company in the former Yugoslavia, employing a workforce of 800. But it ran into serious difficulties in 2008 and was taken over by Subic and chief financial officer Saso Pusnik.
