Smart wearable body and wellness-monitoring T-shirt prototype from Singapore

KaHa, a Singapore-based Internet of Things (IOT) company, has launched a concept smart wearable body and wellness-monitoring T-shirt prototype, developed in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech).

KaHa worked with SIMTech as a key strategic technology and supply chain partner for the research institute’s Collaborative Industry Project (CIP) on Smart Apparel Innovation and Flexible Hybrid Electronics.

The smart apparel prototype has printed flexible hybrid electronics that capture vital body signs and transmits them to a detachable smart module on the garment. The module cleans the data, which is then shared with KaHa’s IoT platform to be analysed.
