South Korean business defies cotton campaign complaint

A non-governmental organisation that is campaigning to end forced labour in Uzbekistan’s cotton industry has questioned whether the South Korean government is fulfilling its duties as a member of the OECD after it refused to investigate Daewoo International, a company that has admitted it uses forced-labour cotton in its operations in Uzbekistan over nearly 20 years.
