Sustainable car seat foam solutions
A new range of cushioning solutions made from an innovative structure of polyester-based fibres that is 100% recyclable and aimed at the mobility markets has been developed by Faurecia and Indorama Ventures.
One of the objectives of Auraloop is a twofold reduction in the carbon footprint of car seat pads, which are currently made from polyurethane foam. The new material is said to offer an increased level of performance in terms of thermal comfort and durability.
