Tai Yuen Textile, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based Yunlon Group, which has vertical operations from spinning, dyeing to garment manufacture, is to construct a textile mill in the Dong Van II Industrial Park, Duy Tien district, Vietnam, on around 24 ha of land. This will be the first mill investment by the Taiwanese group in Vietnam’s Ha Nam province.
The project involves an investment of US$150m and will require nearly 5,000 workers. Construction of the facility is expected to begin in August and is scheduled for completion in 12 months.
