Tax break announced for Indonesian PPE manufacturers

The Indonesian government is helping manufacturers of personal protective equipment (PPE) and household antiseptic products as the number of cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) has increased in the country.

In an announcement, the government declared a tax break for producers of PPE, including N95 masks and gloves, along with makers of antiseptic hand sanitisers, ventilators, reagents for diagnostic tests for COVID-19 and disinfectants.
