Teijin sets up new unit for meta-aramid fibre in Thailand

Japanese fibre maker Teijin has set up a subsidiary in Thailand that will produce and sell its newly developed meta-aramid fibre from July 2015.

Production will be handled at a new facility to be constructed on the premises of Teijin in Ayutthaya province beginning in December. The new subsidiary is headquartered at the premises of Teijin Polyester in Pathum Thani province.
