Thai clothing exports decline 10% in H1

In the first half of 2012, Thai clothing exports reached US$1.48bn, a year-on-year fall of 10.3%, according to the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA).

The decline was largely due to a reduction in shipments to the two major markets, the US and the EU, which fell 15.2% and 20.6% respectively to US$497.5m and US$409m.
