Japan’s Toray Industries has reported record sales for its Czech subsidiary, Toray Textiles Central Europe (TTCE), which is strengthening its position in Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2014, TTCE’s sales increased by 72% year-on-year to CZK1.37bn (US$65m), which resulted from higher demand for its products and the relatively weak Czech koruna. In line with the rise in sales in last year, the company increased its net profit to CZK158m (US$7.4m).
