Toray to build new sewing plants in Myanmar

Japanese man-made fibre maker Toray Industries is expanding its overseas sewing operations to capitalise on growing demand for clothing in emerging economies.

The company will build new plants in Myanmar and other countries while partnering with local sewing service companies to create an integrated system ranging from fibres to clothing.
